Like many people, I spent a good part of my adult life longing, and looking for, my one true love. In fact, I built a career out of it – as a relationship journalist, an author of many books on the topic, a love coach, a soul mate teacher and, ultimately, a minister and wedding officiant.

For a long time I thought I was “ready” for my soulful lover. I’d researched how to meet him, had taken so many other people through the process, and was invited to go on TV and radio to tell other people how to do it. My bio said I was a relationship expert!

I thought for sure I would be one of the lucky ones; at the very least, I was winning some karmic brownie points that would entitle me to a cool relationship. But somehow, my relationships were never quite the mythic love matches I envisioned.

Sometimes I wondered if I’d missed the boat to Soul Mate Mountain in this lifetime.

There were two things that helped to eventually bring my beloved and I together:

* I never gave up my faith that he existed.

* And I discovered the importance of getting ready for love!

I was called to connect with my own soul first, and then, from that place, connect with my “other half.”

When our time came, it was a great awakening. Bells and whistles went off and we both believe there was a slight tremor in the earth.

So I am here to tell you: when you’ve done the work, when you are in harmony with you’re your intentions, when your will is aligned with the highest love, and when the time is right ... your soul mate will come.

Many people ask for my help in this area and because of my schedule, consulting time in limited but I will be offering a course on finding true love in 2010.

As a soulful love consultant and teacher I will lead participants through their own private "Soulmate Project." It involves many levels of spiritual coaching as well as Feng Shui tips to help place yourself in the most fortunate position for love!
